Comfortable stay and very convenient location. We stayed here as a family in a two-bedroom unit. It was clean, tidy, and super roomy - one of the largest family units I have ever stayed in. The kids loved the pool. The new owners, who are super friendly, are in the process of upgrading the rooms. A generous wifi allowance too. I'll recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The hotel had a great location, really close to the beach and shops. It was perfect for our Christmas holidays! We also appreciated the free wifi and the clean towels. The air conditioning worked well and the room temperature was just right.
Sadly, we didn't have a great experience at this hotel. The beds were really uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy.

The layout suited us. The room was always very clean. We felt it was value for money.
The fact that there was no central heating unit. The room was excessively hot, to keep cool you had to leave the windows open and put up with the mosquitoes.

We had an amazing stay here! The location of this place is perfect, right by the motorway, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The service we received was exceptional, from the friendly and down-to-earth staff to the fantastic customer service they provided. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. The outdoor swimming pool and garden area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather. We also appreciated the wide range of services offered, such as room service, laundry, and even a spa and wellness centre. we highly recommend staying here for a luxurious and comfortable experience.

We stayed at a motor lodge recently and had a great experience. the location was quite close to the town center and a small shopping center, making it easy to get anything we needed. Our room was clean, comfortable and serviced daily, with a great layout. the staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the swimming pool facilities.
The parking situation could have been improved as it was a free-for-all and could be chaotic at times.

I loved my stay here, clean, comfortable, friendly accomodating service, and room made up every day with clean linen and restocking of refreshments. I have travelled the world, and the quality of this Motor Lodge is first rate. I would highly recommend it and rate it highly!

Have stayed here 3 times previously. Spacious, well equipped units, with all mod-cons, very hard to go past. Very obliging hosts and the locality is about right for where ever you may want to go in the city. Always the first call for us if we are wanting accommodation in Napier.

Very clean, large room, big bathroom with spa bath, flat screen tv, tea and coffee. Perfect for a stay over on the way from Gizzy to Wellington, on the main road... Exactly what we were looking for.
A little confusion as to whether we had already paid on the Booked.net site or not as it was not stated on the receipt. Not really a big deal though.

The bed was the hardest we have ever experienced, the pillowslips on the bed appeared to be thread bare ie; they appeared to be so old the cotton content has been washed out. The unit was exposed to traffic noise from the busy Kennedy Road, no double glazing .... this may have considerably reduced the traffic noise. The air conditioner did not heat the room, with a low over night temperature this was needed, batteries in the a/c remote were obviously near flat.

We were impressed with the size and layout of our room, complete with a spa bath. The hotel facilities had the added bonus of air conditioning, free biscuits, and a dark flannel for make-up. Located quite close to the town center, it was easy to park right outside our room and the owner was friendly and knowledgeable, providing lots of information about the city's wineries.
For us, it was ideal.

The rooms were spacious. Management were very bright and friendly. Handy to everything
The only thing I didn't like was being able to hear the people in the room upstairs walking around and having showers at 5.45am. The kids playing tag outside sounded like a heard of elephants running around the upstairs balcony which wasn't very nice when you have a headache
